Furious confirm UK Lineup.
written by Blunty - 18.05.2013 - 10:20

Furious are proud to announce our new competitive line up who will attend all future events including EGL10. We would like to welcome the new lineup to Furious and the full lineup consists of:-

United Kingdom Dean ‘Walshy’ Walsh
United Kingdom Jonathan ‘Jonny’ Paul
United Kingdom Matthew ‘Jared’ Workman
United Kingdom Steven ‘Pryce’ Pryce

After a few weeks of watching them scrim we have come to the decision that Dean, Jonathan, Jared & Pryce are the perfect four to be representing us at future events, there dedication and professionalism are at the standards we are looking for and we are positive that with our support they will come back with the placement they deserve.

Furious.UK will be representing us for the current Call of duty game, there performance will be assessed at the end of 2013 and hopefully a new contract will be offered to them for the new up and coming 2014 season.

Furious.Ladies find their 4th.
written by Blunty - 25.04.2013 - 15:19

The Furious.Ladies had been searching for their final player for almost two weeks. They have been trying several girls but they decided to pick up former apex Player Rebecca 'Becka' Hind. Rebecca comes with alot of experience under her belt which is key for the Ladies team over the upcoming months as they approach EGL10 this summer.

I would like to wish both Rebecca and the Furious.Ladies the best of luck for the future, and once again I hope you enjoy your stay here at Furious eSports.

The full Furious.Ladies lineup consists of:

Sweden Emilia-Rose 'Rose' Worrall (c) - @Furious_Rose
United Kingdom Jessica 'Jessy' Satterthwaite - @Furious_Jessy
Bouvet Island Julie 'Jewels' Johnstad - @Furious_Jewels
United Kingdom Rebecca 'Becka' Hind - @Furious_Becka

Furious.Ladies member Julie 'Jewels' Johnstad said:
First of all I would like to welcome Beckah to the team, after playing with a few people myself, Jess and Emilia came to the decision that Beckah would suit our team more then anyone. I have had past team experiences with Beckah and I know she is more then capable of being a solid 4th for the line-up. With the team finally sorted I think we will prove some critics wrong in regards to all girl line-ups not having great results.

Furious partner with RPMNetwork!
written by Blunty - 10.04.2013 - 13:30

Earlier this week Furious received an email regards to a YouTube partnership deal with RPMNetwork. The email stated that our channel was now eligible to be partnered. So after speaking with the RPMNetwork Support Team they guided me through the steps that enabled our channel to be partnered with RPM.

Now that our channel is successfully partnered, over the next few weeks their will be a massive change in the amount of content we upload to the channel. We will be uploading videos every 2-3 days and it will vary from Call of Duty and FIFA 13. We have a few ideas amongst us for different series's that we will be hosting on the channel.

If you have not visited our YouTube channel then I strongly recommend that you do, also hitting the subscribe button will enable you for notifications on when we upload a video so you can watch it straight away with in just a click of a button!

Return from EGL9..
written by Blunty - 04.04.2013 - 12:31
Many European gamers hit the streets of Blackpool on Thursday looking to win the biggest European event for gaming at this present moment. There was a total of 68 Call of Duty - Black Ops II teams for the XBOX platform which in my opinion was an amazing turnout, top players from all around Europe came to Blackpool to compete for a total prize pot of £9,000.

Unfortunately no teams were able to represent Furious at EGL9 due to a late change with our Halo squad, there captain BAINZZ decided it was time for a change and eQ decided to pick them up, mainly this was because of funding reasons but I won't be discussing that in detail on this article.

A total of 4 members from Furious attended the event, all of them being Management (Curt, Hewitt, Jonesy, RDW) - 3 of the Furious members decided on participating in the EGL9 Mad Catz FIFA 13 Spring Championship, many of you will maybe know the people who hosted this tournament 'Sweet Patch' from the iSeries events.

Both Rob and United Kingdom Jonesy ended up getting to the Quarter finals but both were defeated to very experienced players who have won many FIFA tournaments in the past. I would personally like to thank EGL and all there sponsors that made EGL happen last weekend. Furious will see you again soon.

Myself and Rob have mentioned many times in the past that we are open to recruitment on a multiple list of games, currently the only games we feel we are going to financially support will be Call of Duty, Halo and FIFA. Over the next few months Furious will be working hard to get the jersey's finished and published so we can show them off at all the events we attend, we currently don't have any teams representing us at the moment so if you would like to apply you can by emailing us at furiousesports@gmail.com or contacting Rob or myself on Skype. We are looking at funding teams very soon so if you lack experience when it comes to handling pressure and/or not comfortable with having to a sign a contract then please do not waste our time. If I haven't mentioned a game that you play and your looking to represent Furious then we are open to offers.

Long waited update..
written by Blunty - 17.03.2013 - 04:49

A long waited update video...

First of all I would like to apologize on behalf of the management for the recent inactivity around here and the community. There are several reasons into this matter but I don't want to take it up any further as we are back. EGL9 is quickly approaching with only 1 more weekend left before it's time to pack our bags and head to Blackpool.

As I have just stated EGL9 is approaching very shortly, we are left with just under 2 weeks to recruit a Black Ops II team for this event and then the teams performance will be looked at and the Furious management will analyze how our teams behaved, how they performed and what they gained at the event, we mentioned before that funding will be on the table and will be offered out to teams this Summer, so I would like to address to all teams that are playing for us that there is something to play for.

Also I personally would like to welcome the new Furious Halo 4 team to the organisation as I didn't do the article for their announcement, so welcome aboard guys. I hope you enjoy your stay here.

If you are interested in joining Furious eSports then you can email us on furiousesports@gmail.com or tweet us @furiousesports

Furious announce Halo 4 Lineup
written by Hewitt - 26.02.2013 - 12:48

So at first to start things off this may surprise most of you, it surprised us when our initial thoughts was only to try find a Call of Duty team to represent us at EGL9. Then we had contact from a Halo 4 team asking us if they could join our organisation and after weeks of talking we can now finally announce them into the Furious family with the team name

Furious.UNCHAINED

The team consists of:

United Kingdom Amritpal 'B41NZZ' Singh (c) - Leader and Highest placement 7th XL5
Scotland Adam 'adamack' Mckenzie - Former vVv player and Highest placement 2nd XL5
United Kingdom Darren 'DTC TWIN' Ellis - Halo2 iScream Founder and Highest placement 4th Halo 2
United Kingdom Eddie 'Seph' - Highest placement 2nd at i-series

If you have followed Halo scene at all you will probably remember these players back between Halo 2 and Halo 3 being respected players and top of their game.

The Team when Halo Reach was used and in-play at the time they all decided to take a break and now they are back to now return to the top level of the Halo Competitive EU Scene.

We also apologise for the inactivity with everything relating to the gaming scene, these past weeks have been a busy time for us and we are working hard behind the scenes.

Regards,
Furious Management.
Furious partners with GamersFM!
written by Blunty - 03.02.2013 - 15:48

Yesterday, Furious eSports announced on twitter that they had agreed a sponsorship deal with the new upcoming radio station for gamers called GamersFM. After several weeks of talks with Mitch Castle (CEO of GamersFM) I thought the deal would bring in great things for the both of us. We are both new but experienced when it comes to the gaming scene and both parties are delighted and as the Managing Director I would like to wish GamersFM a happy stay here at Furious and hopefully good things come from this sponsorship.

So as most of you know this is now our third sponsor in just a matter of months as Furious are still looking to grow bigger and better all the time! The jersey's for the 2013 season are going to be ordered very soon and when I finalize the design of the jersey's with our sponsor GamingJerseys I can assure you I will tweet out for all our followers.

This week has been both good and bad here at Furious. Sadly earlier this week I had too announce that the community team would be longer apart of Furious (Jonesy, MAC, Rawr, Marshy) this was for many reasons which I don't wish to discuss but the team decided to go their separate ways and I would like to wish them all the best of luck for the future from everyone here at Furious.

But the saying is 'their is always a positive from a negative' which is very true. Furious has hit two milestones this weekend, one of them being Furious reaching over 100+ followers on twitter and we appreciated all your support! Also the website has been up for around 3 weeks and has already hit over 1000 visitors which is great stuff!

I would like to personally thank everyone who has shown support and thanks for all the positive comments! Don't forget to check out our twitter/facebook/youtube pages!

Black Ops II Recruitment
written by Blunty - 02.02.2013 - 05:25

The former Furious team which consisted (Myself, Hewitt, RDW, Jonesy) decided to call it a day a while ago, which left Furious seeking for a new Black Ops II team for the upcoming LAN events for the 2013 season. We then picked up another team but ended up dropping them because of many reasons, and also our community team split the weekend which left us looking for a new Black Ops II team.

Many of you won't know who we are just yet and we only established back in November 2012 and we haven't really been active as an organisation until I quit playing and decided to put full attention too Furious. Now the website is up and we are growing on the social networking side of things and in general things seem to be working out quite well for us.

Anyways, I am looking to pick up a Call of Duty - Black Ops II team for EGL9 + i48 then will review how you have done and decide weather or not to take things further. I am going to be honest here, I am the only one funding Furious at the moment as Rob is having a few problems.

Currently I can't offer you any funding. This is not permanent, it's just at this present moment I am saving for my holiday in August and have other commitments to focus on. We are also planning on getting some jersey's designed for the 2013 season as we are sponsored by GamingJerseys so that could be discussed.. I know from past experience in org's that TOP ORGS can fund TOP PLAYERS, well we are no where near becoming a top organisation just yet, and I don't expect to be picking up a pro team that will finish T8+.

Enough talking, if you would like to contact me regards to recruitment then I am available most nights on Skype after work (6PM-11PM GMT). If you can't get hold of me on Skype then you can tweet us or check our Facebook page. Contact details will be at the bottom of thread.

Thanks everyone, hope to pick a team up very soon! Peace!
